It’s been over a month since I’ve posted – oops! Time has completely flown by this month
and I can’t believe the New Year is here in just a few hours!
December has been filled with concerts, tests, parties, trips, and relaxation. School was out on the 14th and I think I was just as glad for a break as the kids were. The last two weeks of the semester provided more emails and tasks to complete than the rest of the semester combined. One day, I had so much going on, I forgot to think ahead about a ride home. My last responsibility finished and the next though that came to mind was: “Oh no. I don’t have a ride back home. This never-ending day isn’t going to end – I’m going to have to sleep at school!” Thankfully, with a few text messages and phone calls, I was able to get a ride after a long 13-hour day.
My Christmas break has been wonderfully busy, but not so busy that I can’t relax. I’ll admit, I was green with envy of my friends and co-workers who went home for Christmas.…
